Open Workout and Info Session for HS Players

 * Class of 2020, 2021, 2022 Players Invited *

Sunday, October 28, 5:00-7:00pm at Jefferson HS

Open Workout and Info Session for Grades 9-10-11.  All players in the Class of 2020, 2021, and 2022 who are interested in playing for a Matrix Black college exposure team in Spring/Summer 2019 are strongly encouraged to attend.

  • Date:  Sunday, October 28
  • Time:  5:00pm-7:00pm
  • Location:  Thomas Jefferson HS in Alexandria
  • Cost:  FREE
  • Pre-Register: Click HERE

The purpose of this workout is twofold: players will be able to get in some skills work with our coaches prior to the start of the high school season, and players and parents will also be able to learn more about the 2019 Matrix Black college exposure teams, their planned tournament schedules, and travel plans.

This workout will be a non-contact skills workout only.  With high school tryouts starting in a few weeks, we do not want to risk players getting injured by scrimmaging.  The workout portion will wrap up around 6:30pm, after which we will have a brief information session led by our exposure team coaches.‚Äč

We look forward to seeing you in the gym!

Help Matrix Raise Funds for Nationals or Scholarships
The cost for a player participating in AAU can be quite expensive, as can the cost of a team of attending AAU Nationals or other summer tournaments.

The Matrix offers scholarships to players on a need basis as our policy is that no player should not play for financial reasons.

In addition, we want to assist our teams in their fundraising efforts to attend Nationals and other suche events.

As such, we have set up an online donation page for you to make a tax deductible donation for scholarships or to a Matrix team of your choosing; the Matrix is a tax-exempt Section 501(c)(3) organization.

Click here to visit the Matrix donation page for more information and to make a donation.  Thank you!!!!

The MATRIX Way: This is What Matrix Basketball is All About

Before we started the 2011 AAU season, the Matrix Board of Directors felt it was important to let all current and prospective players, parents, coaches, and fans know what it means to be a member of the Matrix; these principles still apply in 2018.

Click here to see the fourteen items that compose The Matrix Way.
