During college, she worked as a coach at the Syracuse University Women's Basketball summer camp and the University of Rochester girl's basketball camp. Liz also is a self-described basketball junkie, and a life-long student of the game.

Coaching Philosophy.  Coach Reed believes that basketball teams at any level become successful through constant effort, enthusiasm, and by working together.  Therefore, Liz stresses to her team the importance of working hard, communicating, and having fun during practices and games.  Additionally, she strongly believes that girls must be encouraged to play an aggressive, attacking style on offense and defense, and thereby build confidence in themselves on the basketball court.  She also believes that all players, especially at younger ages, should focus on becoming fundamentally sound, disciplined, and smart basketball players.  Finally, in every season, Liz hopes to pass along to her players many of the invaluable lessons she was taught during her playing career.
