What Is The Matrix Academy?
The Matrix Academy is a unique developmental program offered by Matrix Basketball for Girls in Grades 1-2-3 each spring. The program is designed for girls who are serious about becoming better basketball players this spring, and who enjoy challenging themselves to improve their skills in a fun but focused learning environment.
The Matrix Academy will feature once-per-week skills training sessions from March through June. Each session will feature a mix of drills, competitions, and games to develop girls’ fundamental basketball skills and their love for the game. Each player that participates will also receive a Matrix t-shirt and other gear.
The Matrix Academy will be run primarily by Matrix club president, Liz Reed. Coach Liz will be supported on occasion by other members of the Matrix Basketball coaching staff. Click here to read more about Coach Liz's coaching background.
The Academy sessions will tentatively be held on Friday evenings, for 60-90 minute blocks, sometime between 6pm-9pm. We will most likely hold two sessions per evening. The gym location is still TBD, but it may change based on gym availability th.
Anyone that registers now but has a conflict once the Academy schedule is confirmed may receive a full refund of the registration fee.

The cost for the Matrix Academy is $75/player.
Please Note: Players in Grades 1-2-3 that are selected for a Matrix AAU team should not participate in the Academy. All players that are not selected for the Matrix 2021 Black team (Grades 3 and Below) this spring are encouraged to register for the Academy.
